How is Flash Recall different from flashcards?

Traditional flashcards test recognition — you see the word and check if you know it. Flash Recall works the other direction: you see the meaning and must type the French word or its reading yourself, which is a harder, more useful skill for actually producing the language.

What word lists can I practice from?

The same curated topic and level lists used by the Word Lists tool, so your progress and vocabulary choices stay consistent between the two tools instead of maintaining separate lists.

Do I have to type the exact script?

No — answers are checked flexibly. You can type the target script or its romanised reading, with or without spaces, and the check still counts a correct answer, so minor formatting differences won't mark you wrong.

Does it track streaks or accuracy?

Yes. Your accuracy and best streak for each word list are remembered on this device, so you can see how consistently you're recalling words correctly across sessions.
